Weekly Update 9/1

Hello FCP Families,

I hope you are having a wonderful long weekend and are all ready for the first week of school!

For the first week, each class will have their own introductory week. Below is the schedule and your child’s teacher sent out specifics for which session your child will attend. 

Young 3’s Class

• 9/3: Children attend class without their parent

  • Half of the class attends from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. 

  • Second half from 10:30 -11:30 a.m.

• 9/4: Children attend class without their parent 

  • Half of the class attends from 9:00– 10:00 a.m. 

  • Second half from 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

• 9/5: All children attend from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m.

  
  

3s & 4s Class

• 9/2: Children attend class without their parent

  • Half of the class attends from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. 

  • Second half from 10:30 -11:30 a.m.

• 9/3: Children attend class without their parent 

  • Half of the class attends from 9:00– 10:00 a.m. 

  • Second half from 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

• 9/4: All children attend from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m.

• 9/5: Full day, all children attend from 9:00 – 11:30 a.m.

Pre-K 

• 9/2: Children attend class without their parent

  • Half of the class attends from 9:00-10:00a.m.

  • Second half from 10:30-11:30a.m.

• 9/3, 9/4 & 9/5: Full day, all children attend 9:00 – 11:30 a.m. 

This Friday will be the first “Turtle Shirt Day”, the first Friday of each month we encourage the children to wear their FCP Turtle Shirts.

• Turtle shirts and bags can be purchased this week, they are both $10.00 each and Beth will be in the office for anyone that needs to purchase either.

There will be coffee and a light breakfast in Anderson Hall (one floor above the preschool) Tuesday and Wednesday.

• Feel free to hang out and chat since the first couple days are short. Siblings are welcome and the church has some toys and books up there as well. 

Upcoming Dates:

• Tuesday, September 2: first day of school, 3/4s class and Pre-K class

• Wednesday, September 3: first day of school, Young 3’s class

• Wednesday, September 3: Board meeting, Voodoo Brewery on Lee Rd. 7:00PM

• Tuesday, September 16: Lunch Bunch begins

• Tuesday, September 23: No School (Rosh Hashanah)

• Saturday, September 27: 11:00AM-1:00PM Bike-A-Thon at Horseshoe Lake Park
