  • 2 min read

Hello Coop Families,

We hope everyone had a great introductory week and are ready for the first full week of school!

School Updates

  • All classes will be full sessions this week, at 9:00 AM and ending at 11:30AM.

  • Color Weeks: The first 9 weeks of school we will celebrate a different color each week.

    • This week we will celebrate the color red! Please help your child choose something to wear with the color red on Thursday.

    • This is not meant to be stressful, any little splash of red counts.

    • Also, if you are the parent helper, try to incorporate red into the classroom snack.

    • Tom Hodgkiss-Lilly, a long-time previous Coop member, is a sponsor for the race and is also sponsoring a team. It is a wonderful charity event for Heights youth athletic scholarships. Tom’s letter to friends and neighbors with signup information can be found HERE.

  • The Heights Tree People (HTP) are looking for some volunteers to help with upcoming mulching and planting days.

    • This is taking place at the Coventry Peace Park so kids can play when they have had enough work. This is a great opportunity to help the community, spend time with friends and family, and to be outside.
