Summer Camp: Week 1

We are so excited that your child will be joining us for Week 1 of camp. The key information is outlined below. Please let me know if you have any questions! 


Weekly Theme 

Tuesday, May 27 - Friday, May 30  

Get your scuba gear ready to dive "Under the Sea" for an unforgettable adventure. The children will learn about the amazing things that take place in our vast oceans. We are going to make jellyfish, do an experiment about the depths of the ocean, paint seashells, and learn about many different types of sea life. 


Important things to know

  • Camp will run Tuesday through Friday from 9:00 - 1:00. 

  • Camp teachers are Mrs. Stefanak, Ms. Amanda, Ms. Jenny, Ms. Megan, Ms. Beth, and Super Sub Mrs. Vliek (Wednesday)

  • On the first day of camp, please bring a water bottle and a change of clothes. These items will be kept at camp, and will go home with the campers on Friday. 

  • Campers should bring a packed lunch everyday. 

  • We will be spending a lot of time outside, but will have structured play and activities in our classrooms as well.

  • Drop off and pick up will be on the playground (weather permitting)

  • Ms. Sha'Ran will be coming on Thursday for dance class!

  • On Fridays, we will spend extra time outside doing water play! They do NOT need bathing suits, but they may have wet clothes at pick up time.


Daily Schedule

9:00  Drop Off Outside on the Playground (weather permitting)

9:00 - 9:45 Outdoor play and games

9:45-10:00 Potty 

10:00-11:15 - Small Groups (3 different activities, groups rotate) Dance on Thursday!

11:15 - 12:00 Potty, Wash Hands, Lunch 

12:00 - 1:00 Outdoor play and games

1:00 Pickup on the playground
